I have 2 exceeds on order, one should arrive next week.  I don't think the exceed has a rear v-bar mount.  Can the string stop be removed and mount a v-bar and still be adjusted for the correct length?  Anyone have pics of their set-up?

Yes you can , use a longer 5/16-24 screw first trough the string stop than through the v-bar mount and into the bow. after thats done you will have to remove, measure and cut the carbon string stop rod use a high speed saw to cut this. I just did this on a bow I delivered to a customer and it worked perfectly.

I got my used exceed on Friday.  Saturday / sunday had a shoot so little time to set the bow up.  I tried setting the v-bar with a longer screw on top of the string stop.  I won't have to cut the rod this way.  So far I think I'm going to like it.  I'll try to post some pics later.  It really depends on your v-bar mount.  I like the one I have, not sure who makes it.

I just have an offset bar... Its placed behind the quick disconnect in the front since I didnt wanna deal with moving the string stop.  Works great.  All B-Stinger bars and they are worth every penny!

I did that with my other v-bar, but it has longer stabilizers.  This one felt better by shifting the weight back.  I only had to disconnect the string stop and change to a longer bolt.  The way I mounted it I didn't have to cut the carbon rod on the string stop.

I use the Dead Center Archery adjustable V-bar system. That system is machined to bolt through you risor, between your grip and bottom limb. It's verry nice.

I recently found 2 used Shibuya v-bars which are excellent.  Built in quick disconnects all the way around.  Very compact and light-weight.  I highly recommend these.
